Hello!
These about me pages are always so daunting. Let's see -- what is there to know about me? I am an avid reader, murder mysteries and whodunnits are my guilty pleasure. I love cooking, and probably more so eating. I have been happily married to Matt for 7 years, and I am a mom to the most rambunctious and hilarious toddler this side of the Mississippi.
I am a two time graduate of TCU, receiving my Bachelor's degree in 2004 and my Master's in 2008. I came to teaching after picking out my favorite parts of a 10 year career in ministry -- working with kids, seeing them grow, and helping them to learn. This is my third year at Handley Middle School and I am so excited about this school year. I told our students on day one that I believe "this is our year," and I stand by that. This is our year to develop a passion for reading. This is our year to close the gap. This is our year to to excel.
